All YMCA of Lincoln facilities are closed until further notice. That includes the Cooper YMCA, Copple Family YMCA, Downtown YMCA, Fallbrook YMCA and Northeast YMCA. YCMA Camp Kitaki is also closed until further notice and all other YMCA Youth Sports and YMCA in-person programs and events are cancelled until further notice.

The Y's are closed indefinitely until public health officials tell us it is safe to reopen. This pandemic is unprecedented and in everyone's best interest to proceed carefully and cautiously before returning to business as usual.

At this time, there are few different options that the Lincoln Y is offering to its members:

1) Stay With Us - By keeping your membership active during this time we can remain fully focused on our efforts to help our community stay strong in spirit, mind, and body. We have numerous initiatives underway to help our community at this time. If you choose to keep your membership active, we are deeply grateful for your generosity. You don’t need to take any action to retain this status. Thank you for staying with us!

2) Draft to Donation - Convert your membership to a tax-deductible donation to help your community during this time. Your monthly membership draft will remain the same, and when we resume normal operations, your donation will end. At that time, we’ll convert you back to regular membership. The YMCA will provide a tax receipt of your charitable donation at the end of the year. Click here if you wish to convert your membership to a donation.

3) Membership Hold - We certainly understand that you have financial obligations; and naturally, we will place your membership on hold at no cost during this time should you wish to. If you wish to put your membership on hold, click here. We will continue to draft your membership fee unless you complete and submit the form.

If you need to further discuss your membership options, please contact our Membership Services Director at dkovar@ymcalincoln.org.

For our members and program participants - many of you have asked how you can help.  First, if it doesn’t create a financial hardship on your family, keep your Y membership.  Second, continue your financial support with a donation. Your gifts help us help our community, especially now.

We know many of you have questions about Y programming that you are either already enrolled in, or are enrolled in for a future session. We are working at this time on scheduling scenarios so that when the Y does resume normal operations, you can pick up right where you left off.

But give us time to get this worked out. When it is, we will reach out directly to those enrolled to communicate the schedule and the next steps.

We appreciate your patience, and look forward to seeing you back in our facilities in the near future.

Yes. YMCA Members will have access to a full array of at-home workouts through Y360 free of charge through the time that we are closed.

Keep checking the YMCA of Lincoln website where information will be posted as soon as it is available to the public.

In addition, we will be sending out periodic updates through our Lincoln YMCA Newsletter and posting on our YMCA of Lincoln Facebook page.
