Junior Camp (Ages 7-8)

This is where the adventure and magic begins for so many of our campers. Special cabins, special activities, a more structured schedule and a closer camper/counselor relationship make this week just right for younger campers. Our Junior Camp counselors are specially trained and skilled for this age group. Highlights include special swim times, horseback rides, and Kitaki's adventure trails The Pirates of the Platte, and Knights Quest.
  • Junior Camp Clubs - Campers in Junior Camp have their own version of clubs. These clubs are taylored to fit the age groups interest and scheduled to allow for campers to have freedom within a structured environment. The campers are presented 3-4 choices and then come back together for a second round of choices.
  • Fort Pawnee - This brand new area of camp is a specially designed natural play area complete with replica western fort. Designed with this age group in mind the are will allow kids a very accessible way to enjoy nature and have fun in the natural environment
  • Junior Campers get a good overview of the traditional camp activities as well. Visit our Summer Activities Page for more information.

Adventure Mini Camp (Ages 7-11)

The perfect way to "try us out" or fit Camp Kitaki into your busy summer! You choose Sunday through Wednesday, or Wednesday Through Saturday. Be prepared for a schedule packed with structured age-appropriate, traditional camp activities and staff specially trained for your child's age group to create a great camp experience. Some highlights include plenty of swim time, a horseback trail ride, and opportunities to grow personally while making new friends. This is a way for new campers to try camping for just half a week. Mini Campers do not experience all of the activities a camper staying for the full week would.
