Youth Training & Wellness
Fitness for everyone! Introduce your kids to fitness through fun, high-energy group classes they’ll love. Parents can attend for a family workout, or can drop kids off for them to learn the importance of staying active while parents go focus on their own health and wellness goals.
For times when youth will be using the YMCA, we ask that the outlined YMCA of Lincoln policy and facility use guidelines be followed. Click HERE for our Youth Policies.
Learn kitchen etiquette and cooking basics in this hands-on kids program. Youth will build basic culinary skills, how to incorporate nutritional information, and do fun food experiments in the hour-long class. Participants will learn kitchen safety and etiquette, proper measuring techniques, and how to build a complete meal. Recipes prepared by these junior chefs may include chicken stir-fry, no-bake protein balls, avocado brownies, and more.
