Spirit Volleyball League

League Description

Spirit Volleyball is a competitive, coach-select volleyball league. The season is ten matches in the Fall, and eight matches in the Spring.

Ages

Offered for boys and girls in 4th - 8th grade.

Registration Information

The registration for Spring Spirit Volleyball League is now available.

If you are an individual looking to be added to a team the registration needs to be submitted by February 28.

If you are a head coach or team representative, a team roster needs to be submitted by February 28.

Once the team roster is turned in the coach will receive a registration link to send to their players to register for their team.

Players will have from March 3 - March 14 to register for their team.

Game Days

Spirit Volleyball matches will be on Sunday afternoons on March 30, April 6, 13, 27 and May 4. An end of the season single elimination tournament will be held on Sunday, May 11. All teams will participate in the end of the season tournament. Teams will play at least 8 matches during the Spring season and then play in a single elimination tournament.

Uniforms

Teams may wear their own team jerseys or order t-shirts from the YMCA. If teams choose to get their own jerseys, they must be the same style and have a number on the front or back. Teams may order t-shirts from the YMCA at a cost of $20 per shirt. For teams to order the YMCA t-shirt, the $20 cost will be added to the registration fee during online registration.

Other Equipment

Jewelry is not allowed to be worn during YMCA Youth Sports activities. This includes earrings (earrings cannot be taped). No hard casts/splints are allowed during matches/games.
