Child Watch Program
Child Watch Center - FREE for members!
Cooper, Downtown,Fallbrook and Northeast
The Child Watch Center is available to provide care for children ages 6 weeks through 10 years while their *parent is in the Y facility. Members with Family/ Household memberships may use the Child Watch Center free of charge.
*ONLY two adult(s) (19 and over) who are listed on the same Family/Household Membership or Non-Member account, as defined by the Membership Policy, may bring the children who are on that same account into Child Watch or to Kids Quest.
Child Watch Information Record
A Child Watch Information Record form must be on file for any child who participates in the Child Watch program. This form must be filled out and signed by the child's parent or guardian before the child may be placed in the program. These forms are kept on file in Child Watch, a form must be on file at each Y facility you use. Please notify the staff of any change of information on your child's form. After the registration form is filled out, the child may participate in the Child Watch/Kids Quest program on a drop-in basis.
Kids Quest (Cooper, Fallbrook & Northeast)
A part-time recreation program for children of ages 5 years and up. This class provides your child an opportunity to interact with other children their same age. Activities include art, stories, songs, gym games, etc. Parent or guardian must be in the facility while children are in our Kids Quest program. Preschool Education (Cooper, Fallbrook & Northeast)
This is a licensed program, which offers developmental learning experiences for children 3 to 5 years old. YMCA swim lessons and a half hour gym class are included as a part of our program. School Age Child Care
Adventure Club - Before and After School Care (Northeast and Fallbrook)
Schools are Kahoa, Pyrtle, Zeman and Kooser.
This is a state licensed program which provides care for children in elementary school. The program is available both before and after school each day. Activities include indoor and outdoor recreation, games, art, cooking activities, field trips and swimming at the Y. A snack is provided for the children each afternoon. Community Learning Centers
Elliott Community Learning Center (Before and After School Care)
The Lincoln YMCA supports and is the lead agency for the Community Learning Center (CLC) at Elliott Elementary School.
YMCA CLCs provide a delivery system that uses the local school as the hub of service. These centers provide safe, supervised before and after school programs, weekend and summer enrichment programs, and many other supportive services, primarily for youth.
Pershing Community Learning Center (After School Clubs)
The YMCA offers both before and after school programs for Pershing Elementary School. The program was created to improve student learning and development through academic support, physical fitness, character development, and enrichment activities. Students also participate in a reading program, and in a wide variety of enrichment clubs designed to provide a wealth of experiences. Fundays (Cooper, Fallbrook and Northeast only)
A program will be provided for school age (K - 8th Grade) children on some of the days that Lincoln Public Schools is not in session. Activities include: gym games, art, board games, movies, field trips and swimming at the YMCA..

Kid's Night Out (Cooper and Fallbrook)
A great opportunity for kids to have a fun-filled, supervised time at the YMCA while their parents enjoy spending the evening together. The teachers will keep everyone busy with play time, crafts, coloring, and a snack.
