The YMCA Youth Sports Branch is located in the Fallbrook Town Center (570 Fallbrook Blvd. Suite 210, Lincoln, NE 68521). The phone number is 402-434-9217. The office is open Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. (Excluding major holidays)

For inclement weather: Please call the YMCA Youth Sports Cancellation Line at 434-9211 for all YMCA Youth Sports activities. When games are cancelled a notice will be posted on the website and on the Lincoln YMCA Facebook page.

Sign up NOW for Winter Basketball!

Youth Sports YMCA winter basketball season is for boys and girls in 1st- 8th grade. The 1st grade basketball clinic will be one hour per week for 4 weeks starting on January 23rd. The 2nd grade micro league will be one hour per week with a 25-minute practice and a 24-minute game for six weeks starting the weekend of January 15th and 16th. The 3rd- 8th grade recreational league will have one practice during the week and a game on the weekend for eight weeks starting the weekend of January 8th and 9th. The early registration deadline is on Friday October 8th. The second registration deadline is on Friday November 5th.

YMCA Youth Sports Registration Information

The YMCA Youth Sports offers multiple ways to register for activities and sports. Participants are now able to register ON-LINE for clinics, micro leagues, recreational leagues and summer sports camps.
To register online you need your family pin number and an individual barcode. Click here to have your family pin number and individual barcode emailed to you directly, or contact the Youth Sports office and we can give the number to you.
YMCA Member and Community Member rates are available on-line, however no other discounts or deductions can be taken off when registering online. Registration forms can still be printed off and mailed in to the YMCA Youth Sports office or dropped off at any Lincoln YMCA location. Late registrations for Youth Sports can be done on-line, mailed or dropped off at the YMCA Youth Sports Office. The Youth Sports office does not take registrations over the phone or fax machine.

The YMCA Youth Sports offers multiple sports this fall for boys and girls. Volleyball will have a Clinic for children in 1st grade, a Micro league for 2nd grade and Recreational volleyball for 3rd through 9th grade. 2010 Fall Sports on-line registration is now available please click here or download Registration Form.

The Volleyball 2nd registration deadline is on Friday, September 3rd.

Recreational / Micro / Clinic General Information

The YMCA Youth Sports Branch offers a place for every player - regardless of skill level. Players register individually, and YMCA directors assign them to teams based on school areas, previous team and friend requests. The primary objective is to offer a FUN experience combined with basic skill development in a low-key, non-competitive atmosphere. Records are not kept and awards are not given. These leagues and clinics guarantees players equal playing time. Offers a broad base of sport opportunities for participation in a variety of athletic experiences.

The recreation leagues play a 6 to 8-week schedule and will have a separate night of practice once a week. The micro leagues play a 5 to 6-week schedule and the practice and game is all held in the same hour once a week. The clinic program is a 4-week introduction skills program, and it each session is held for one hour a week.

Spirit League General Information

In order to best serve every player and coach, the YMCA Youth Sports offers two levels of play in most sports (Recreational and Spirit Leagues). Spirit Leagues are for players and coaches who desire a more competitive atmosphere. These players have developed fundamentals at a higher level to participate in a competitive league. Teams are formed by coach select procedures. Coaches please be considerate to all players when moving from Recreation to Spirit. Scores and standings are recorded with awards given. Equal playing time is encouraged but not guaranteed. Teams may practice more than once a week. Offers expanded league play and/or tournament opportunities. Lincoln YMCA Adult Leagues

The YMCA Youth Sports Branch offers 5-on-5 Adult Basketball League and Adult Slow Pitch Softball League. The 5-on-5 Adult Basketball League all teams are guaranteed 6 games and a double elimination tournament. The Adult Slow Pitch Softball League summer leagues all teams are guaranteed 8 games and a double elimination tournament, and Fall League teams will play 5 games with a double elimination tournament.
