Q How are teams formed?
A ·Individually by school areas, grade and previous team assignment.
·Friend and/or coach request. No guarantees.
·The YMCA has final jurisdiction.
Q Why are teams divided by grade levels?
A ·The YMCA believes it is important for participants to play with their friends in own grade level.

·It is possible to play a grade level above. Once that occurs this child must always play a grade level above.
·It is not possible for a child to play a grade level lower.
Q How are Coaches selected?
A ·All coaches of the YMCA Youth Sports leagues are volunteer.
·Volunteering to coach a youth sports team can be a rewarding experience and a service to the youth of our community - but most of all - tons of fun!
·The YMCA will provide manuals, clinic and mentors to get coaches started.
·Please mark on the registration form if you are interested in coaching.
Q What about practices?
A ·Set up by the coach in cooperation with the players once per week for 1 hour.
·May begin after Coach Pick-up.
·Contact your coach about practice questions or cancellations.
Q How should Coaches and Fans conduct themselves?
A ·Coaches/spectators need to remember that the Youth Sport leagues are designed for the young people.
·We strive to incorporate a positive, low-key, less stressful, noncompetitive atmosphere for our participants.
·Inappropriate/negative behavior will not be permitted. Expulsion from the league is possible.
Q What about financial assistance?
A ·Financial assistance applicants must apply in person at our office.
·Payments are based on income, number of dependents etc.
·Payment is required when registering.
Q Registration Information?
A ·Deadlines are established by our office to insure time to prepare for the season.
·Late registrations are usually not processed or sent back until after the coaches pick-up date.
·A late fee is assessed to cover the costs to place participants.
·Any late registration not placed on a team will be sent back in its entirely.
·Can be postmarked by the deadline.
Q What is the refund policy?
A ·90% Credit Slip before season begins.
·$20 fee on all returned checks
