For inclement weather: Please call the YMCA Youth Sports Cancellation Line at 434-9211 for all YMCA Youth Sports activities.
To register online you need your family pin number and an individual barcode. Click here to have your family pin number and individual barcode emailed to you directly, or contact the Youth Sports office and we can give the number to you. YMCA Member and Community Member rates are available on-line, however no other discounts or deductions can be taken off when registering online. Registration forms can still be printed off and mailed in to the YMCA Youth Sports office or dropped off at any Lincoln YMCA location. Late registrations for Youth Sports can be done on-line, mailed or dropped off at the YMCA Youth Sports Office. The Youth Sports office does not take registrations over the phone or fax machine. Tournament InformationThe YMCA Youth Sports Branch offers a variety of weekend tournaments throughout the year for all grades and skill levels. The Lincoln YMCA tournament information and other area tournament information is available using the links below.League Rules and Schedule InformationThe coaches manual/rules and schedules for recreational and micro leagues will be posted after coaches pick-up. The spirit and summer leagues rules and schedules will be posted after the published date on the registration information. The rules and schedules that are available at this time are linked below.Recreational / Micro / Clinic General InformationThe YMCA Youth Sports Branch offers a place for every player - regardless of skill level. Players register individually, and YMCA directors assign them to teams based on school areas, previous team and friend requests. The primary objective is to offer a FUN experience combined with basic skill development in a low-key, non-competitive atmosphere. Records are not kept and awards are not given. These leagues and clinics guarantees players equal playing time. Offers a broad base of sport opportunities for participation in a variety of athletic experiences.The recreation leagues play a 6 to 8-week schedule and will have a separate night of practice once a week. The micro leagues play a 5 to 6-week schedule and the practice and game is all held in the same hour once a week. The clinic program is a 4-week introduction skills program, and it each session is held for one hour a week.
Spirit League General InformationIn order to best serve every player and coach, the YMCA Youth Sports offers two levels of play in most sports (Recreational and Spirit Leagues). Spirit Leagues are for players and coaches who desire a more competitive atmosphere. These players have developed fundamentals at a higher level to participate in a competitive league. Teams are formed by coach select procedures. Coaches please be considerate to all players when moving from Recreation to Spirit. Scores and standings are recorded with awards given. Equal playing time is encouraged but not guaranteed. Teams may practice more than once a week. Offers expanded league play and/or tournament opportunities.
