Below is registration information for area basketball tournaments. If you are hosting an area basketball tournament and would like it to be posted on this page, please email Todd Johnson.

21st Annual Plains Classic Basketball Tournament

The Hastings High Booster Club will be hosting its 21st Annual Plains Classic Basketball Tournament, December 11-12, 2010. Please make special note of the dates as they have changed from the usual weekend in March. We will be hosting teams from 4th-8th grade in both girls and boys divisions. If there are enough entries we will have two divisions for each age group as in the past.

We will be pre-ordering tournament T-Shirts this year, so please register early so you can get your T-Shirt order in on time. There will be a limited number available at the tournament sites.

As in the past we expect a large turnout so get your registration in early to assure your team a spot.

21st Annual Plains Classic Basketball Tournament Registration Form

JR. PRAIRIE WOLVES BASKETBALL CLINIC 2010

The Nebraska Wesleyan University men's basketball coaching staff and players would like to extend an invitation to attend the NWU basketball clinic for Kindergarten thru 5th Grade Boys. We are eager to help potential players develop and refine their talents. The clinics will be held on October 30th - 8:30-11:30 AM or November 6th - 8:30-11:30 AM. "Prairie Wolves Invitational" Basketball Tournament

Nebraska Wesleyan University Men's Basketball program will host a Youth Basketball Tournament on Sunday December 19th. The tournament will be for boy's teams in 4th thru 8th grades, with a two game guarantee. The tournament has a capacity of 50 teams. For more information and a registration form please click here.

2nd Annual Mr. Basketball & Miss Basketball Lex Jam (Lexington)

The 2nd Annual Lex Jam on January 8-9, 2011, in Lexington, Neb., will feature 64 teams. The event is open to 4th through 8th grade boys and girls teams. All teams are guaranteed three games with experienced officials. Teams will be scheduled for late enough start that they only need motel on Saturday night if travelling from outside the area. Teams last year from as far as Lincoln! We have outstanding facilities at Lexington High School, Lex Middle School and a new gym at Pershing Elementary. The event is organized by Mr. Basketball, Inc. 11th Annual Mr. Basketball & Miss Basketball Hoopfest (Ravenna & Cairo)

The 11th Annual Mr. Basketball & Miss Basketball Hoopfest on January 15-16, 2011, in Ravenna & Cairo, Neb., will feature 64 teams. The event is open to 4th through 8th grade boys and girls teams. All teams are guaranteed three games with experienced officials. Teams will be scheduled for late enough start that they only need motel on Saturday night if travelling from outside the area. We have four full size courts at Ravenna & Centura High Schools. Our central location has drawn teams from Elkhorn to McCook. The event is organized by Mr. Basketball, Inc. Gibbon Youth Basketball Tournament

18th Annual Midway Snow Jam (Kearney)

The 18th Annual Midway Snow Jam on February 19-20, 2011, in Kearney, Neb., will feature 220-250 teams from Nebraska and surrounding states. The event is open to 3rd through 9th grade boys and girls teams with multiple brackets in nearly every grade. All teams are guaranteed three games with experienced officials. Teams will be scheduled for late enough start that they only need motel on Saturday night. We have outstanding facilities at UNK, KHS, KCHS and our middle schools. Our central location draws teams from all over the state. The event is organized by Mr. Basketball, Inc. 30th Annual MIT Basketball Tournament

The Youth Sports YMCA in Lincoln Nebraska will be hosting the 30th Annual MIT Basketball Tournament on March 12th and 13th. The tournament will be for boys and girls teams in 4th thru 10th grades, with a three game guarantee. Last year the tournament had 392 teams. The entry form for the 30th Annual MIT tournament will be available after October 1st.

17th Annual Kearney Blowout

The 17th Annual Kearney Blowout on March 19-20, 2011, in Kearney, Neb., will feature 200 teams from Nebraska and surrounding states. The event is open to 3rd through 9th grade boys and girls teams with multiple brackets in nearly every grade. All teams are guaranteed three games with experienced officials.
