LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA

LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is an evidence-based 12-week program that helps adult cancer survivors reclaim their health and well-being after a cancer diagnosis. A supportive, certified instructor leads a small group through cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, balance, and flexibility exercises.

Camaraderie, encouragement, and healthy activity are key components of LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA.

Jen, one of the Lincoln participants, says anyone can benefit at any stage of treatment or recovery. "I wish I had done this during treatment. It would’ve helped to know it’s OK to exercise. Just to keep up doing whatever you can. This group does that and supports each other."
