Wellness Appointment (30 minutes): In this 30-minute appointment, you'll meet with a Wellness Specialist to discuss your wellness goals and how to best reach them. This appointment is free to all members, regardless of where you are in your fitness journey.
Equipment Orientation (60 minutes): We have a variety of cardio and strength training options, and encourage you to take advantage of orientations on each of the following: cardiovascular equipment, quick fit hydraulic machines, Precor selectorized machines, free weights, and cable tower.
Health Assessment (60 minutes): During your health assessment, we'll measure cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength and endurance, flexibility, body composition scan by Evolt, blood pressure, and resting heart rate. We'll review your results together and provide you with copy as well as keeping them on file. We recommend retesting every 3-6 months to track results.
Body Composition Scan by Evolt: The Evolt 360 Body Scanner is a simple-to-use tool that provides detailed data about a body through more than 40 measurements in just 60 seconds. It works by passing a safe electrical current through the feet and hands to measure muscle mass, fat mass, water and mineral levels in a way that is specific to the individual. Once you have completed a scan, you will have access to the "Evolt Active" app to track your body composition, see your personalized macronutrient profile, and so much more! Scans are available for ages 18 and older as a value add to your YMCA of Lincoln Membership.
